Brewing Instructions

Unlocking the deep tart flavor profiles and nutritional benefits requires proper steeping. Follow this classic ritual for hot or refreshing iced styles.

Brewing Hibiscus Tea
1
Boil Fresh Water

Bring freshly filtered water to a rolling boil (approx. 100°C / 212°F) to cleanly break open the calyces.

2
Measure & Steep

Add 1-2 teaspoons of loose whole petals (or 1 tea bag) per 8oz cup. Pour water directly over petals and steep for 5 to 7 minutes.

3
Customize Your Infusion

Strain out the botanicals. Enjoy plain, or balance the crisp tartness with a drop of honey, fresh mint, or a slice of lime.

Make It Cold (Optional)

To make iced tea, double the herb concentration during the hot steep stage, let it cool completely, and pour directly over a generous glass of clean ice cubes.
